In most Illinois worker’s compensation cases, there are three main benefits that almost all injured workers are entitled to receive. These are:
- Payment of medical expenses;
- Temporary Total Disability payments, or TTD, in the amount of two-thirds of your average weekly wage;
- a lump sum for Permanent Partial Disability, or PPD, which will depend on the nature of your injury, the body part(s) injured, and your average weekly wage.
These three benefits are all that is paid in the vast majority of Illinois worker’s compensation cases.
