ended while on her way to work, suffering fractures to her neck that
required surgery. Multiple witnesses to the accident told the investigating
officer that the client was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic and
cut in front of the truck just as traffic slowed ahead., causing a chain
collision. During the deposition of the truck driver, he admitted that he
was aware of traffic slowing ahead and that the plaintiff was coming up
from behind and that he did not maintain a safe stopping distance from
