Settlement Reached on behalf of driver that was rear ended while at a stop light

Settlement reached on behalf of driver was rear-ended
while at a stop light. Client had a history of lower back pain and was in
fact finishing a course of chiropractic treatment for a flare-up of low back
pain. Accident aggravated underlying lower back condition requiring
three epidural steroid injections before client underwent lower back
surgery. Following surgery, client experienced recurrent disc herniation
which required a second back surgery three days following the first. UIM
claim remains pending with the client’s own insurance carrier. (Cook
